HEY GEHLEN! MAKE YOUR COINS COUNT!
Beginning November 13th - November 30th, all Gehlen Catholic students and staff are asked to collect loose change for our Advent Gift Bag Service Project. Grades Prek-6 will collect loose change. Grades 7-12 will compete in House Penny War.
The entire school - Grades Preschool-12th Grade will participate in our Advent Gift Bags Service Project for our special friends in the nursing homes, assisted living homes, Pride Group homes and for some of the elderly in our parish.
We will be making over 350 bags this year. We will deliver the gift bags before Christmas break.

THIS YEAR: We are asking all elementary families to save and collect loose change for the next few weeks to help fund this project. (Grades 7-12 will donate by competing in the Twisted Penny War).

We hope each student can collect $5 by Thursday, Nov 30th.

The top-collecting classroom will win a HOT CHOCOLATE AND GAME PARTY hosted by CLT and Mrs Schipper!

The top 2 classrooms will have the opportunity to help deliver the Advent Gift Bags.
Each gift will contain the following items:
LIP BA
TRAVEL SIZE HAND LOTION
NEW SOCKS
INDIVIDUALLY WRAPPED TISSUES
LENS WIPES
PEPPERMINT PATTIES
PRAYER CARD
Other items that will be included:
Ornaments handmade by students
Cards hand written by students
