In 2009, the Tim Dreckman (‘73) family established the Tim Dreckman Memorial Fund to welcome new families and assist families like theirs who have a child/ren with learning difficulties.
Over the years, an increasing number of students with academic and behavioral difficulties have been identified as needing additional supports.
To meet the growing needs, Barb (Kellen, ‘74) Dreckman-Nieman and family have revised the Tim Dreckman Memorial Fund.
In addition to school supplies, the Tim Dreckman Memorial Fund established the T.I.M. (Teaching Individuals More) Team. The PBIS Tier II & T.I.M. Teams receive and then evaluate teachers’ requests for the students.
Together, the teams will leverage the school’s & Tim Dreckman Memorial Fund’s financial resources to ensure every student can achieve God’s calling for his/her life!
Individuals & businesses can make a simple tax-deductible gift of $20 or more for school supplies &/or T.I.M. Team. Donations should be sent to the Tim Dreckman Memorial Fund % Gehlen Catholic School.
